Convention Postponed

Late last week, the Republican Party of Minnesota State Executive Committee voted to postpone all party organized in-person conventions and large gatherings effective immediately through April 15, 2020. The SD63 Republican Convention on Saturday, March 21st has been canceled. The SD63 board is working on convention alternatives and will keep you posted.

We have a tentative new convention date scheduled: Saturday, April 18, 2020, Mount Calvary Lutheran 6544 16th Avenue South, Richfield MN, 55423.

We may hold a virtual online endorsing convention in late March/early April. The current candidates have submitted their interest for endorsement to the SD63 Republican nominating committee:

SD63 – Dianne Napper

HD63A – Penny Arcos

HD63B – Frank Pafko

January 27th, Major Dave Hughes (USAF, ret.) Dave is one of a few candidates seeking endorsement on the Republican side of the ticket in CD7.

January 17th, Frank Pafko "There's no place to park!" This lament will become even more common as Minneapolis wages what has been dubbed "the war on cars." The city's 2040 Plan includes draconian measures to reduce vehicle traffic by at least a third, including eliminating parking capacity and driving lanes. Sounds great, huh?... until you have to schlep your groceries home on the bus in the sub-freezing Minnesota winter! Transportation Tsar, Frank Pafko, lays out why the city's goals are such a bad idea and offers viable alternatives.

The Republican Roundtable’s mission is to advance constitutionally conservative ideas and principles through persuasion, influence, and education by presenting candidates and subject-matter experts.
